Here's a good one from Anna Welander:

Because of an ear infection, a young boy had to go to the pediatrician.
While there, his mother was impressed with the way the doctor directed
his comments and questions to her son. Then, just as he was finishing
up, the doctor turned to the boy and asked, "Is there anything you are
allergic to?" The boy nodded and whispered in the pediatrician's ear.

Smiling, the pediatrician wrote out a prescription and handed it to the
mother. Without looking at it, she tucked it into her purse, and, taking
the boy by the hand, left.

Later, the pharmacist filled the order and upon handing it to her,
remarked on the unusual food-drug interaction her son must have. "What
food-drug interaction?" asked the puzzled mom. "I don't know of any such
problem." Understanding came almost immediately when the pharmacist
showed her the label on the bottle. As per the doctor's instructions, it
read: "Do not take with broccoli."

             TODAY'S RECIPE
__________________________________________________

This unusual method of cooking cauliflower makes the flavor more pronounced.

Roasted Cauliflower

1 large head cauliflower, separated into florets
3 Tbs (45 ml) melted butter or olive oil
2 tsp (10 ml) paprika
Salt and freshly ground pepper to taste
2 Tbs (30 ml) water
Chopped fresh parsley for garnish

Toss the cauliflower with the butter and sprinkle with the paprika,
salt, and pepper. Place in a single layer in a baking dish, add the
water, and bake in a 400F (200C) oven until tender and lightly browned,
about 30 minutes. Serve garnished with chopped parsley.
Serves 4 to 6.
