Mushroom Broccoli Alfredo
from Campbell's Kitchen
Prep/Cook Time: 25 min.
2 tbsp. butter OR margarine
3 cups broccoli flowerets
3 cups sliced mushrooms
1 medium onion, chopped
1/2 tsp. garlic powder OR 2 cloves garlic, minced
1 can (10 3/4 oz.) Campbell's(R) Cream of Mushroom Soup OR 98% Fat
Free Cream of Mushroom Soup
1/3 cup milk
1/8 tsp. pepper
2 tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese
4 cups hot cooked fettuccine OR spaghetti
Directions:
HEAT butter in skillet. Add broccoli, mushrooms, onion and garlic
powder. Cook until tender-crisp.
ADD soup, milk, pepper and cheese. Heat through. Serve over
fettuccine. Serves 4.
Kitchen Clip:
Cooked fettuccine can be kept hot for up to 15 minutes: just return it
to the pot of hot cooking water and cover. Drain again just before
adding sauce.
