Beef-on-a-Stick
from Campbell's Kitchen

Prep/Cook Time: 25 min.

1 lb. boneless beef sirloin steak, 3/4" thick
3/4 cup Pace(R) Picante Sauce
2 tbsp. vegetable oil
1 tbsp. lemon juice
1/8 tsp. garlic powder OR 1 clove garlic, minced
 Chopped green onions

Directions:
 SLICE beef into thin strips.
 MIX picante sauce, oil, lemon juice and garlic powder. Add beef and toss to coat.
 THREAD beef accordion-style on 24 skewers. Reserve picante sauce mixture. Grill or broil beef 10 min. or until done, turning and brushing often with reserved picante sauce mixture. Discard remaining picante sauce mixture.
 GARNISH with green onions. Serve with additional picante sauce. Makes 24.

Kitchen Clip:
Place steak in the freezer for about 30 minutes to make it easier to slice thinly.
