Southwestern Meat Loaf

This classic dish with a twist for dinner tonight ensures they'll come the first time you call!

Southwestern Meat Loaf

Prep Time: 10 min. - Cook Time: 1 hr. 15 min.

1 can (10 1/4 oz.) Franco-American(R) Beef Gravy
2 lb. ground beef
2 cups fresh bread crumbs
1 egg, beaten
1/2 cup Pace(R) Picante Sauce
6 cups hot cooked mashed potatoes

Directions:
 MIX thoroughly 1/4 cup gravy, beef, bread crumbs, egg and 1/4 cup picante sauce. Shape firmly into 8"x4" loaf in baking pan.
 BAKE at 350°F. for 1 hr. 15 min. or until done.
 MIX 2 tbsp. drippings, remaining gravy and remaining picante sauce in saucepan. Heat through. Serve with meat loaf and potatoes. Serves 6.

Kitchen Clip:
For a change, use a mixture of ground pork and beef for this meat loaf.
