Supper is ready lickety-split when sliced turkey simmers in a tangy
sauce made with Campbell's(R) Healthy Request(R) Tomato Soup, vinegar,
brown sugar and Worcestershire sauce. This saucy turkey tucked into pita
bread halves makes a family-pleasing supper for busy days.

Barbecued Turkey Pockets
from Campbell's Kitchen

Prep/Cook Time: 20 min.

1 can (10 3/4 oz.) Campbell's(R) Healthy Request(R) Tomato Soup
1/4 cup water
2 tbsp. packed brown sugar
2 tbsp. vinegar
1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 lb. thinly sliced cooked turkey breast *
3 pita breads (6"), cut in half

Directions:
  MIX soup, water, sugar, vinegar and Worcestershire in skillet. Heat to
a boil. Cook over low heat 5 min.
  ADD turkey and heat through. Spoon turkey mixture into each pita half.
Makes 6 sandwiches.
*roasted or deli turkey

This recipe is a great new way to use leftover roasted turkey or
chicken. Or simply buy some roasted turkey from the deli. Serve these
supper sandwiches with potato chips and celery and carrot sticks.
