Kitchen Clip:
When shopping for lemons, choose those that are firm and plump, with
brightly colored, smooth skin. A lemon will release its juice more
readily when stored at room temperature. You can store whole, fresh
lemons at room temperature for up to a week before using. For longer
storage, of up to one month, refrigerate in a plastic bag. One lemon
will yield about 1/4 cup juice.
