Savory Grilled Beef Kabobs
from Campbell's Kitchen
Marinating Time 30 min. Prep Time 15 min. Cook Time 20 min.
1 box (16 oz.) corkscrew pasta
1 can Campbell's(R) Condensed Beef Broth
1/4 cup ketchup
1 tbsp. vegetable oil
1 tsp. dried thyme leaves, crushed
2 tsp. minced garlic
1/2 tsp. garlic powder OR 2cloves garlic, minced
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 lb. boneless beef sirloin OR top round steak, cut into 1" cubes
1/4 tsp. ground ginger
12 medium mushrooms
1 large green pepper, cut into 1" pieces
3 slices American cheese, cut up
Directions:
MIX broth, ketchup, oil, thyme, garlic and pepper in shallow
nonmetellic dish. Add beef, mushrooms and green pepper and toss to coat.
Cover and refrigerate 30 min.
THREAD alternately beef, mushrooms and green pepper on 4 long skewers.
GRILL kabobs 20 min. or until done, turning and brushing often with
marinade. Discard remaining marinade. Serves 4.
ADD soup, half-and-half, American cheese and basil. Heat to a boil.
Cook over low heat 5 min.

Kabobs are great grilling fun and an easy way to grill a meal of meat
and vegetables all-in-one and all-at-once. Remember to wash hands
thoroughly after threading the skewers with the raw marinated meat. As
you thread the skewers, remember to leave space around the meat chunks
to allow the hot air to circulate for thorough cooking.
