Kitchen Clip:

Conchiglie is the Italian name for shell-shaped pasta--it means seashells. Shell pasta is used in recipes with flavorful sauces because its unique shape and ridges hold sauces and bits of meat and vegetables well. Shell pasta is also popular for soups, salads and casseroles.
