Kitchen Clip:

Make the most of summer cooking by taking advantage of 'family size'
packages of ground beef
available at a lower price per pound. Separate into convenient 1-lb.
packages, or make up into
patties, and freeze in heavy-duty aluminum foil or plastic freezer bags
for up to 3-4 months.
Remember to always defrost meat safely in the refrigerator or in the
microwave (following
manufacturer's directions)--not at room temperature.
