Kitchen Clip:

Take advantage of 'family-size' packages of ground beef available at a
lower price per pound. Separate into
convenient 1-lb. packages and freeze in heavy-duty aluminum foil or
plastic freezer bags for up to 3-4 months to
have handy for quick recipes such as this. Remember to always defrost
meat safely in the refrigerator or in the
microwave (following manufacturer's directions), not at room temperature
on the kitchen counter.
