Grilled Cheese and Tomato Napoleon Appetizers
Thaw Time 30 minutes
Prep Time 10 minutes
Bake Time 20 minutes
1/2 pkg. (17 1/4-oz. size) Pepperidge Farm Frozen Puff Pastry Sheets (1
sheet)
3/4 cup shredded sharp Cheddar or feta cheese
1 small tomato, diced
THAW pastry sheet at room temperature 30 min. Preheat oven to 400°F.
UNFOLD pastry on lightly floured surface. Cut into 3 strips along fold
marks. Cut each strip
into 6 rectangles. Place 1? apart on baking sheet.
BAKE 15 min. or until golden. Remove from baking sheet and cool on wire
rack.
SPLIT pastries into 2 layers, making 36. Mix cheese and tomato. Place 18
bottom layers on baking
sheet. Sprinkle with about 1 tbsp. cheese mixture. Top with remaining
pastry layers.
BAKE 5 min. or until warm. Makes 18 napoleons.
