Kitchen Clip:

Varieties of ground beef include, from the leanest: ground sirloin,
ground round, ground chuck and ground beef
(or "hamburger"), which may be a combination of cuts. When
purchasing ground beef, look for a bright
red surface on the meat and tightly wrapped packaging, and be sure to
check the "sell by" date on
the package. Store ground beef in its packaging in the coldest part of
your refrigerator for up to 2 days.
