An Italian culinary classic is now quick and easy to make at home with
Prego Extra Chunky Mushroom & Green
Pepper Pasta Sauce.

Prego Easy Cacciatore
Prep Time: 15 minutes
Cook Time: 25 minutes

2 tbsp. olive or vegetable oil
4 boneless chicken breast halves or 8 boneless chicken thighs
1 medium onion, chopped
1/8 tsp. garlic powder or 1 clove garlic, minced
1 jar (28 oz.) Prego Extra Chunky Mushroom & Green Pepper Pasta Sauce
4 cups hot cooked linguine or spaghetti

HEAT 1 tbsp. oil in skillet. Cook chicken until browned. Remove
chicken.
HEAT remaining oil in skillet. Add onion and garlic and cook until
tender-crisp.
ADD pasta sauce. Heat to a boil. Return chicken to skillet. Cover and
cook over low heat 5 min. or until
done. Serve over linguine. Serves 4.
