Recipe of the Day:
A quick and easy everyday version of a German favorite, simple to make
on your stove with Campbell's Tomato
Soup.
Campbell's Sauerbraten Burgers
Prep/Cook Time: 20 minutes
1 lb. ground beef
1 can (10 3/4 oz.) Campbell's Tomato Soup
3 tbsp. red wine vinegar
1 1/2 tsp. packed brown sugar
2 tsp. prepared mustard
8 slices rye bread
Shredded red cabbage
Sour cream
SHAPE beef into 4 patties, 1/2" thick.
COOK patties in skillet until browned. Pour off fat.
ADD soup, vinegar, sugar and mustard. Heat to a boil. Cover and cook
over low heat 5 min. or until done.
SERVE on bread. Top with cabbage and sour cream. Serves 4.
