I like this one. Thanks to Robin in Ohio for sending it in.

Feeling listless, I bought some expensive "brain-stimulating" pills at
the health food store. But it wasn't until I got home that I read the
label. "This is just rosemary extract," I complained to my husband. "I
can't believe I spent all that money for something that I have growing like wild in the yard!"

"See?" he said. "You're smarter already."

This is great on pasta and lends an unmistakable Italian accent to any meat or vegetable dish.

Italian Seasoning Mixture

1/4 cup (60 ml) dried rosemary
1/4 cup (60 ml) dried thyme
1/4 cup (60 ml) dried oregano
1/4 cup (60 ml) dried basil
1/4 cup (60 ml) dried savory
2 Tbs (30 ml) dried sage
2 Tbs (30 ml) dried marjoram
2 Tbs (30 ml) dried hot pepper flakes (optional)

Mix ingredients together and spoon into small jars with tight-fitting lids.
Makes about 1 1/2 cups (375 ml).
