Here's an unlikely one from Rosemary Zwick:
I walked into a Starbucks with a buy-one-get-one-free coupon for a
Grande Latte. I handed it to the girl and she looked over at a little
chalkboard that said, "buy one-get one free."
"They're already buy-one-get-one-free," she said, "so I guess they're
both free." She handed me my free lattes and I walked out the door.

This side dish is a quick and easy way to dress up one of our most
popular vegetables. If you have any broccoli haters in your house, you
might want to try this one on them.
Broccoli with Sesame Seeds
1 1/2 lbs (675 g) broccoli, cut into small pieces
1 Tbs (15 ml) sesame oil
1 Tbs (15 ml) sesame seeds
1 Tbs (15 ml) soy sauce
Steam the broccoli until it is cooked but still firm. Heat the sesame
oil in a skillet large enough to hold the broccoli. Add the sesame
seeds, the broccoli, and the soy sauce, stirring or tossing to combine.
Serves 4 to 6.
