Here is an appropriate gift for the holidays.

Snow Balls Mix

1/2 cup (125 ml) powdered (confectioner's) sugar
2 cups (500 ml) all-purpose flour
1 cup (250 ml) chopped pecans

Layer the ingredients in a jar in the order listed. Attach a gift card
with the following instructions:

Beat 3/4 cup (180 ml) shortening, 4 Tbs (60 ml) butter, and 2 tsp (10
ml) vanilla extract in a bowl until well mixed. Stir in the snow balls
mix and form into 1-inch (3 cm) balls. Place on a greased baking sheet
and bake in a preheated 375F (190C) oven for 10 to 12 minutes. Roll in
