            TODAY'S RECIPE
__________________________________________________

One of the things you'll like about this simple recipe is that you may
already have the ingredients on hand. I think you'll also like the pureed
banana and applesauce I've labeled "bananasauce" all by itself so
make a couple of batches and keep it on hand in the fridge.

Bananasauce "Pudding"

1 ripe banana, peeled
1 cup (250 ml) applesauce
1/2 cup (125 ml) prepared granola, raisins, chopped nuts,
chopped dried fruit, or any combination of these

Puree the banana and applesauce in an electric food processor or
blender until smooth. Stir in the granola, fruits, and/or nuts.
Serves 2 to 3.
