             TODAY'S RECIPE
__________________________________________________

This dish has been in my family for at least three generations and
remains one of the easiest recipes ever conceived. It also tastes
great, and will please even the pickiest eaters in a crowd.

Peas and Peanuts

12 oz (336 g) frozen green peas
1/2 cup (125 ml) roasted peanuts
3 Tbs (45 ml) mayonnaise (or to taste)

Thaw the peas by running warm water over them in a colander for two or
three minutes - there is no need to cook them. Drain and combine with
the remaining ingredients. Serve chilled or at room temperature.
Serves 4 to 6.
