Softball Game

"Business Hours"

Open most days about 9:00 or 10:00,

Occasionally as early as 7:00,

But some days as late as 12:00 or 1:00.

We close about 5:30 or 6:00,

Occasionally about 4:00 or 5:00.

But sometimes as late as 11:00 or 12:00.

Some days or afternoons, we aren't here at all.

And lately I've been here about all the time,

Except when I'm somewhere else.

But I should be here then too.

"Softball Game"

An interoffice softball game was held every year
between the marketing and support staff of one
company. The support staff whipped the marketing
department soundly.

To show just "how" the marketing department earns
their keep, they posted this memo on the bulletin
board after the game:

"The Marketing Department is pleased to announce
that for the 2007 Softball Season, we came in 2nd
place, having lost but one game all year. The
Support Department, however, had a rather dismal
season, as they won only one game."
