There was a man at a small university
some years ago who had a part time job
helping bands set up that would come to
play at their auditorium.

Preparing for one such weekend concert
he saw a small young man laboriously
pushing a large amplifier up a rather steep
ramp.

After helping the little guy he noticed a worn
stencil on the side of the amp and asked if
the young man was ever going to be able
to afford to re-stencil his name on the
equipment.

The younger man looked at him and said
as seriously as anyone he'd ever met, "The
stencils say Springsteen and you might as
well get used to pronouncing it right. You'll
be hearing it a lot in the future."

Pick your dream and though you may have
to change directions now and again always
remember which way you were headed
to start with.
