"iTunes"

My wife and I were recently browsing children's
music on Apple iTunes and came across a
series of albums from over the years on which
children provide back-up vocals to some of the
more innocent top 40 hits from recent years.
Mixed in there were a couple of seasonal albums,
too, such as Christmas and Halloween songs.
On the Halloween album was Michael Jackson's
"Thriller."

I shuddered but went ahead and played the 30-
second sample. Afterwards, my wife, shaking
her head ruefully, said, "That's just not right."

I responded, "What, children covering Michael
Jackson? If the rumors are true, then I'm sure
he wouldn't want it any other way."

"Charles and Camilla"

Prince Charles hurriedly reversed his Rolls-Royce
from the garage, and inadvertently ran over one of
Queen Elizabeth II's pet Corgi dogs, flattening it to
unrecognizable road-kill.

Charles was standing over the dog's lifeless body,
worrying about what mother would say, when
suddenly a genie appeared beside him saying,
"Hello, I'm a genie, and I can grant you one wish
and only one wish."

Charles replied, "Genie, I need you to restore this
dog to life and health once again."

The genie guffawed, "Look, that dog is crushed.
Every bone broken, every organ popped. No hope
at all there."

Charles hesitated, then said, "All right, genie, for
my one wish, I would have you make Camilla as
beautiful as the late Princess Diana was."

The genie inhaled sharply, thought a moment,
and sighed, "Well now, let's have another look
at that dog."
