This kid-approved meal is sure to please the grown-ups as well!
Tuna & Pasta Cheddar Melt
from Campbell's Kitchen
Prep/Cook Time: 20 min.
1 can (10 1/2 oz.) Campbell's(R) Condensed Chicken Broth
1 soup can water
3 cups uncooked corkscrew-shaped pasta
1 can (10 3/4 oz.) Campbell's(R) Condensed Cream of Mushroom Soup
(Regular, 98% Fat Free or 25% Less Sodium)
1 cup milk
1 can (about 6 oz.) tuna, drained and flaked
1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
2 tbsp. Italian-seasoned dry bread crumbs
2 tsp. butter or margarine, melted
Directions:
HEAT broth and water to a boil in skillet. Add pasta and cook until
just tender, stirring often. Do not drain.
STIR in soup, milk and tuna. Top with cheese. Mix bread crumbs with
butter. Sprinkle on top. Heat through. Serves 4.
TIP: Serve with steamed whole green beans. For dessert serve clementines.
Kitchen Clip:
If you don't have corkscrew-shaped pasta on hand, you can substitute an
equal amount of small shaped pasta, such as penne, bow-ties or small shells.
