Zesty Pasta with Sausage

This delectable pasta supper tastes like you've been cooking all day.

Zesty Pasta with Sausage
from Campbell's Kitchen

Prep Time: 10 min. - Cook Time: 20 min.

1 lb. sweet Italian pork sausage, casing removed
1 jar (1 lb. 10 oz.) Prego(R) Traditional Italian Sauce or 1 jar (1 lb.
9 oz.) Prego(R) Organic Tomato & Basil Italian Sauce
1/2 cup sliced pitted ripe olives
1/8 tsp. garlic powder or 1 clove garlic, minced
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
4 cups large tube-shaped pasta (rigatoni), cooked and drained

Directions:
1. Cook the sausage in a 3-quart saucepan over medium-high heat until
the sausage is well browned, stirring frequently to break up meat. Pour
off any fat.
2. Stir in the Italian sauce, olives and garlic powder. Heat to a boil.
Reduce the heat to low. Cook for 5 minutes or until the sausage is
cooked through.
3. Stir in the cheese and pasta. Serve with additional cheese, if
desired. Serves 4.

Kitchen Clip:
Spice things up by substituting an equal amount of hot Italian sausage
for the sweet sausage.
