You can throw together a few simple ingredients in the morning, and come
home to a mouthwatering supper that's ready when you are!

Melt-In-Your-Mouth Short Ribs
from Campbell's Kitchen

Prep Time: 10 min. - Cook Time: About 9 hr.

3 lb. beef short ribs
2 tbsp. packed brown sugar
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp. dried thyme leaves, crushed
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
1 can (10 1/2 oz.) Campbell's(R) Condensed French Onion Soup
1 bottle (12 fl. oz.) dark ale or beer
 Hot mashed potatoes OR buttered noodles

Directions:
 PLACE beef, brown sugar, garlic and thyme in 3 1/2- to 6-qt. slow
cooker. Sprinkle with flour and toss to coat.
 MIX soup and ale. Pour over beef.
 COVER and cook on LOW for 8 to 10 hr.* or until beef is fork-tender.
Remove beef from sauce. Spoon off fat from sauce before serving. Serve
with potatoes or noodles. Serves 6.
 TIP *Or on HIGH 4 to 5 hr.

Kitchen Clip:
