perfect side dish for your supper!

Mixed Field Greens, Asian Pears & Pecan Salad
from Campbell's Kitchen

Prep Time: 20 min.

6 cups mixed field greens
1 1/2 Asian pears, cut into thin slices
3/4 cup pecan halves, toasted
 Asian Balsamic Vinaigrette

Directions:
ARRANGE greens, pears and pecans on 6 chilled salad plates. Spoon Asian
Balsamic Vinaigrette over top. Serves 6.
TiP: Asian Balsamic Vinaigrette : Mix 1/2 cup Swanson(R) Chicken Broth,
1/2 cup olive oil, 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar, 2 tbsp. chopped green
onions, 2 tsp. Dijon-style mustard and 1 tsp. grated fresh ginger until
blended. Makes 1 1/3 cups.
Swanson Kitchen Tip: This recipe is also great using Swanson(R) Natural
Goodness(TM) Chicken Broth or Certified Organic Chicken Broth in place
of regular chicken broth.

Kitchen Clip:
Asian pears are ripe even when they are extremely firm. Avoid pears that
are soft, wrinkled, or are obviously bruised. Look for Asian pears that
have fairly strong and sweet aroma (they will not smell as strong if
they are cold).
