Orange Beef Steak
from Campbell's Kitchen
Prep Time: 10 min. - Cook Time: 25 min.
1 jar (12 oz.) Campbell's(R) Slow Roast Beef Gravy
1 tbsp. orange zest cut in 1"-long very thin strips
2 tbsp. orange juice
1/2 tsp. garlic powder OR 2 cloves garlic, minced
1 1/2 lb. boneless beef top round steak, 1 1/2" thick
Directions:
MIX gravy, orange zest, orange juice and garlic powder and set aside.
PLACE steak on rack in broiler pan. Broil 4" from heat until desired
doneness (allow 25 min. for medium), turning once and brushing often
with gravy mixture. Thinly slice steak.
HEAT remaining gravy mixture to a boil and serve with steak. Serves 6.

Zest refers to the outer skin of citrus fruits. The colored part of the
skin contains natural oils that provide aroma and flavor. The white
portion of the skin, or pith, which lies just below the zest, should not
be used because of its bitterness.
