Two-Bean Soup with Corn Bread
from Campbell's Kitchen
Prep Time: 10 min. - Cook Time: 25 min.
1 can (14 oz.) Swanson(R) Beef Broth
1/2 cup Pace(R) Picante Sauce
1/2 tsp. dried oregano leaves, crushed
1/8 tsp. garlic powder
1 clove garlic, minced OR 1 can (about 16 oz.) black beans
1 can (about 15 oz.) pinto beans
4 servings prepared corn bread
Chopped green onions
Directions:
MIX broth, picante sauce, oregano, garlic, black beans and pinto beans
in saucepan. Heat to a boil. Cover and cook over low heat 20 min.
PLACE corn bread in individual bowls. Ladle soup into bowls and
sprinkle with onions. Serves 4.
Kitchen Clip:
Serve hearty bowls of soup and cornbread with baby carrots. Offer
Pepperidge Farm(R) cookies for dessert.
