Baked Macaroni and Cheese
from Campbell's Kitchen
Prep Time: 20 min. - Cook Time: 20 min.
1 can Campbell's(R) Cheddar Cheese Soup
1/2 soup can milk
1/8 tsp. pepper
2 cups hot cooked corkscrew OR medium shell pasta
1 tbsp. dry bread crumbs
2 tsp. butter OR margarine, melted
Directions:
MIX soup, milk, pepper and pasta in 1-qt. casserole.
MIX bread crumbs with butter and sprinkle over pasta mixture.
BAKE at 400°F. for 20 min. or until hot. Serves 4.
Kitchen Clip:
A creamy, cheesy sauce like the one in Macaroni and Cheese works best on
small pasta shapes that have a curve or groove for holding the sauce.
Macaroni, campanelle (little bells), shells and fat rigatoni all work
