Pork chops are treated to a glorious glaze of delicious flavor and
cooking convenience in this easy 20-minute recipe made with Campbell's
French Onion Soup.
Glazed Pork Chops
from Campbell's Kitchen
Prep/Cook Time: 20 min.
2 tbsp. cornstarch
1/2 cup water
1 tbsp. butter OR margarine
6 pork chops, 3/4" thick
1 can Campbell's(R) French Onion Soup
2 tbsp. packed brown sugar
Directions:
MIX cornstarch and water.
MELT butter in skillet. Add chops and cook until browned.
ADD soup and sugar. Heat to a boil. Cover and cook over low heat 10
min. or until done.
REMOVE chops and keep warm. Add cornstarch mixture. Cook and stir
until mixture boils and thickens. Serve over chops. Serves 6.

The hardening of brown sugar is a constant challenge. To keep brown
sugar soft and moist, refrigerate it in an airtight container. If your
brown sugar has hardened, however, you can soften it in the microwave by
placing one cup in a covered, microwave-safe dish and heating on High
for 30-60 seconds, watching carefully. Or place hardened brown sugar in
an oven-safe container in a 200 degrees F oven until it becomes dry and
crumbly, then powder it in an electric blender.
