Dinner is single-skillet simple and simply delicious when Campbell's
does the cooking. Taste for yourself with our easy Skillet Chicken &
Rice meal.
Skillet Chicken and Rice
from Campbell's Kitchen
Prep Time: 5 min. - Cook Time: 35 min.
1 tbsp. vegetable oil
4 boneless chicken breast halves
1 can Campbell's(R) Condensed Chicken Broth
3/4 cup water
1/2 tsp. dried basil leaves, crushed
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
3/4 cup uncooked regular long-grain white rice
2 cups fresh OR frozen broccoli flowerets
Paprika
Directions:
HEAT oil in skillet. Add chicken and cook until browned. Remove chicken.
ADD broth, water, basil and garlic. Heat to a boil. Stir in rice.
Cover and cook over low heat 5 min.
STIR in broccoli. Top with chicken. Sprinkle with paprika. Cover and
cook 15 min. or until rice is done. Serves 4.
Kitchen Clip:
Not a broccoli fan? Substitute green beans or peas and carrots for the
broccoli.
