Fiesta flavors make supper time festive! Delicious ideas are always
minutes away with Campbell's(R).
Chicken Fajitas
from Campbell's Kitchen
Prep/Cook Time: 20 min. - Marinating Time: 30 min.
1/4 cup Italian salad dressing
6 boneless chicken breast halves
1 can Campbell's(R) Fiesta Nacho Cheese Soup
1/3 cup milk
12 flour tortillas (6")
4 green onions, thinly sliced
1 small avocado, peeled, pitted and sliced (optional)
Directions:
POUR dressing into large shallow dish. Add chicken and turn to coat.
Cover and refrigerate 30 min., turning occasionally.
REMOVE chicken from marinade. Grill 15 min. or until done, turning
once. Discard marinade.
MIX soup and milk in saucepan. Heat through.
SLICE chicken into thin strips and place down center of each tortilla.
Top with onions, avocado and soup mixture. Fold tortilla around filling.
Makes 12 fajitas.
Kitchen Clip:
To hasten avocado ripening, place in a brown paper bag and let sit at
room temperature for a day or two. Ripe avocados will feel tender at the
stem end. Cut avocado in half, remove pit and scoop out flesh. If not
using right away, brush all surfaces with lemon juice.
