Who wants to please the family with a satisfying supper in just 20
minutes? You do, with one-dish Chicken Primavera. Colorful, creamy and
ready in a flash, this perfect weeknight dinner comes to you compliments
of Campbell's(R) Kitchen.
Chicken Primavera
from Campbell's Kitchen
Prep Time: 10 min. - Cook Time: 20 min.
2 tbsp. cornstarch
1 can (14 oz.) Swanson(R) Chicken Broth (1 3/4 cups)
1/4 tsp. garlic powder OR 2 cloves garlic, minced
2 cups broccoli flowerets
2 medium carrots, sliced
1/2 cup green OR red pepper cut in 2" strips
1 small onion, chopped
2 cans (4.5 oz. each ) Swanson(R) Premium Chunk Chicken Breast, drained
4 cups hot cooked spaghetti
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Directions:
MIX cornstarch and 1/4 cup broth.
MIX remaining broth, garlic, broccoli, carrots, pepper and onion in
saucepan. Heat to a boil. Cover and cook over low heat 5 min. or until
vegetables are tender-crisp.
ADD cornstarch mixture. Cook and stir until mixture boils and
thickens. Add chicken and heat through. Toss with spaghetti and cheese.
Serves 4.
Kitchen Clip:
Toss salad bar greens with Italian dressing, slice a loaf of French
bread, and serve bakery cookies with fresh fruit for dessert.
