can create a homemade stew faster or more deliciously than Campbell's
Soup, as
our Country Chicken Stew recipe proves.

Campbell's Country Chicken Stew

Prep Time: 15 min.
Cook Time: 40 min.

2 slices bacon, diced
1 medium onion, sliced
1 can (10 3/4 oz.) Campbell's Cream of Chicken or 98% Fat Free Cream of
Chicken
Soup
1 soup can water
1/2 tsp. dried oregano leaves, crushed
3 medium potatoes, cut into 1" pieces
2 medium carrots, sliced
1 cup frozen cut green beans
2 cans (5 oz. each) Swanson Premium Chunk Chicken Breast, drained
2 tbsp. chopped fresh parsley

COOK bacon in skillet until crisp. Remove and drain on paper towels.
ADD onion and cook until tender. Stir in soup, water, oregano, potatoes
and
carrots. Heat to a boil. Cover and cook over low heat 15 min.
ADD beans. Cover and cook 10 min. or until vegetables are tender. Add
chicken,
parsley and bacon and heat through. Serves 4.

Kitchen Clip:

The most common varieties of fresh parsley are curly and flat-leaf
parsley.
Either variety will work well in this recipe.
