Comfort food and cooking convenience--there's no better way to top off a
chilly day. Campbell's(R) Cream of Chicken Soup does it deliciously with
this easy-to-make stew.

Country Chicken Stew
from Campbell's Kitchen

Prep Time 15 min. Cook Time 40 min.

2 slices bacon, diced
1 medium onion, sliced
1 can (10 3/4 oz.) Campbell's(R) Cream of Chicken OR 98% Fat Free Cream
of Chicken Soup
1 soup can water
1/2 tsp. dried oregano leaves, crushed
3 medium potatoes, cut into 1" pieces
2 medium carrots, sliced
1 cup frozen cut green beans
2 cans (5 oz. each ) Swanson(R) Premium Chunk Chicken Breast, drained
2 tbsp. chopped fresh parsley

Directions:
  COOK bacon in skillet until crisp. Remove and drain on paper towels.
  ADD onion and cook until tender. Stir in soup, water, oregano,
potatoes and carrots. Heat to a boil. Cover and cook over low heat 15 min.
  ADD beans. Cover and cook 10 min. or until vegetables are tender. Add
chicken, parsley and bacon and heat through. Serves 4.

Kitchen Clip:
For best flavor, crush dried herbs between your fingers. Store dried
herbs and spices in airtight containers in a cool, dry place for up to
three months. For longer storage, refrigerate.
