Thanks to Jack Chambles for this true food funny:

My nephew loved banana pudding but didn't like bananas, so
his mother would leave them out and make a passable banana
pudding for him. One day he asked her to make him some
banana pudding and she told him she would love to, but she
was out of Vanilla Wafers. He declined, saying, "What's banana
pudding without Vanilla Wafers?"

You can use yogurt or whipped cream as the base for this
versatile sauce, but I prefer sour cream. Spoon it over hot or
cold meats, fish, or even green salads. It also makes a great dip for
raw vegetables.

Scandinavian Horseradish Sauce

1 cup (250 ml) sour cream
3 Tbs (45 ml) prepared horseradish, or to taste
1 tsp (5 ml) Dijon mustard
1 tsp (5 ml) white wine vinegar (optional)
Salt and freshly ground pepper to taste

Combine the ingredients in a bowl and stir to combine. Will
keep refrigerated for up to a week. Serve chilled or at room temperature.
