Thanks to Lynne Janbergs for this Halloween food funny:

It was Halloween and three vampires went into a bar. "What will you have?" asked the bartender.

"I'll have a glass of blood," replied the first.

"I'll have a glass of blood too please," said the second.

"I'll have a glass of plasma," said the third.

"OK, let me get this straight," said the bartender, "That'll be two bloods and a blood light?"

            TODAY'S RECIPE

Smoked fish for breakfast may sound a bit odd, but they go with
scrambled eggs every bit as well as crisp bacon does. Try it and I'm sure you'll agree.

Grilled Kippered Herring

Kippers* (smoked herring)
Butter
Freshly ground pepper to taste
Lemon juice

Place the kippers skin side down on a hot grill or griddle and dot with
butter. Cook 4 to 5 minutes, without turning, until very hot. Season
with pepper and lemon juice. Serve with scrambled eggs.
Allow 1 or 2 per person.

* If using canned kippers, which are too fragile to be cooked in this
manner, bake in a 350F (180C) oven for 10 minutes, following the same procedure.
