and dessert fare. Here's a small collection of recipes that

This elegant little finger food offers an interesting and unusual
combination of flavors, colors, and textures.
Salmon and Star Fruit Canapes
1/4 lb (110 g) thinly sliced smoked salmon
1 star fruit (carambola), sliced
1/4 cup (60 ml) creme fraiche or sour cream
Chopped fresh chives for garnish
Place a small piece of salmon on top of each slice of star fruit.
Top with a small dollop of creme fraiche and sprinkle with chopped
chives. Serves 4 to 6 as an appetizer or hors d'oeuvre.
