             FOOD FUNNY
__________________________________________________

Thanks to reader Lillian Toka for sending us this classic food funny:

Two men were in a restaurant and ordered fish. The waiter brought a
dish with two fish, one larger than the other. One of the men said to
the other, "Please help yourself." The other one helped himself to
the larger fish. After a tense silence, the first one said, "Really,
now, if you had offered me the first choice, I would have taken the
smaller fish!" The other one replied, "What are you complaining for?
You have it, don't you?"

             TODAY'S RECIPE
__________________________________________________

Here are a bunch of variations on everyone's favorite campfire treat.
The name derives from the countless scores of Girl Scouts (and more
than a few Boy Scouts) who have asked for "s'more" whenever these
gooey goodies are prepared. For the benefit of those who have never
savored the original, I have included a recipe for it as well.

S'mores

All recipes this week are adapted from "Weber's Big Book of Grilling"
by Jamie Purviance and Sandra S. McRae, available from Amazon.com at

Chocolate bars
Graham crackers*
Marshmallows toasted over an open fire

* Graham crackers are sweet, flat, rectangular whole-wheat crackers.
Any sweet cracker or cooky (biscuit) may be substituted.

Place a piece of chocolate on a graham cracker. Place a hot toasted
marshmallow on top of the chocolate, and top with another graham
cracker.
