Thanks again to George in Poughkeepsie for this oldie but goody:
A missionary was captured by a cannibal tribe, tied up and placed into
a pot of water. Then they started a fire under the pot. The
missionary cried out, "What are you doing?" The cannibals replied,
"We are going to boil you and eat you!" The missionary hollered back,
"You can't boil me... I'm a friar!"

TODAY'S RECIPE
__________________________________________________
Here is a fat-free dessert that you can adapt to use any of your
favorite fruits.
Frozen Strawberry Cream
2 cups (500 ml) sliced fresh strawberries
4 cups (1 L) fat-free vanilla yogurt
2 Tbs (30 ml) sugar
Puree half the strawberries in an electric blender or food processor.
Blend with the yogurt. Toss the remaining strawberries with the sugar
and stir into the yogurt mixture. Freeze in an ice cream maker
according to the manufacturer's directions. Alternately, freeze in a
metal baking pan, cut into 1-inch (2 cm) cubes, and process in an
electric food processor until smooth. Serves 6 to 8.
