I believe this is the first mouse food funny I've ever published.
Thanks to reader Aimee Wilkes for sending it in.

Two mice lived at movie studio. They were scurrying around one of the
studio's warehouses looking for food, when suddenly one hears the
other chewing. "What did you find?" the first mouse asks.

"I am not sure," he answered. "It looks like a piece of film
celluloid from an old movie. Let me see... Ah, yes. It's from 'Gone
with the Wind.'"

"And how is it?"

"Not bad, but the book was better."

Strawberries have long had a reputation as an aphrodisiac, but the
reason isn't nearly as clear as in the case of the avocado. If you're
curious about the reasoning behind the avocado's reputation, the
complete story is in issue #2 of World Wide Recipes EXTRA!

All recipes this week are adapted from "InterCourses: An Aphrodisiac
Cookbook" by Martha Hopkins and Randall Lockridge (Terrace
Publishing, 1997), available from Amazon.com at
