Thanks to reader Joey Sorensen for this true food funny:
My sister CeCe was making her first lasagna. She cooked the noodles
and made a wonderful, thick, rich sauce. The cheese was grated and
the filling was ready, all waiting to be assembled. She carefully
layered the ingredients, taking great care, making sure everything was
evenly distributed. She popped it in the oven and then proudly served
the lasagna 'masterpiece' to her family. Everyone ate heartily and
enjoyed every bite. Satisfied that she had mastered the 'art' of
lasagna, she went to clean up the kitchen, and to her horror she found
the lasagna noodles sitting in the colander in the sink! Then she
realized she was so busy layering, she completely forgot the noodles.
To top it off, no one even realized they weren't in the lasagna! To
this day, we all laugh about her 'noodleless lasagna' and some swear
it was the best they ever had.

Recipes don't get any simpler than this. You might try using a
different seed such as cumin, fennel, or cardamom, or try a
combination for your own personal blend.
Caraway-Flavored Vodka (Tminnaia Vodka)
2 Tbs (30 ml) caraway seeds
1 Liter bottle of vodka
Put the caraway seeds in the vodka and replace the cap. Let sit at
room temperature for 1 to 3 weeks. Strain and return the vodka to the
bottle. Serve well chilled. Makes 1 liter.
