Variations on this food funny from "RYEDOG2396" are as old as the
hills, but I still get a kick out of it every time.

A man observed a sign in the window of a restaurant that read, "Unique
Breakfast" so he walked in and sat down. The waitress brought him his
coffee and asked him what he wanted. "What's your Unique Breakfast?"
he asked inquisitively.

"Baked tongue of chicken!" she proudly replied.

"Baked tongue of chicken? Baked tongue of chicken! Do you have any
idea how disgusting that is? I would never even consider eating
anything that came out of a chicken's mouth!" he fumed.

Undaunted, the waitress asked, "What would you like then?"

"Just bring me some scrambled eggs," the man replied.

Here is a quick and easy breakfast dish that is almost as easy to make
for 20 people as for two. You could even mix up a large batch of the
topping and let your house guests assemble and toast their own.

Herbed Cheese Toast

2 eggs
3/4 cup (180 ml) cottage cheese or ricotta
1 tsp (5 ml) chopped fresh parsley
1 tsp (5 ml) chopped fresh chives
Salt and freshly ground pepper to taste
4 slices bread

Combine the eggs, cheese, herbs, salt, and pepper in a small bowl.
Spread over the bread and place under a preheated broiler for 3 to 4
minutes, until puffy and lightly browned. Serves 4.
