We have Jayne Meiners to blame, er, I mean thank for today's groaner:
Q: What did the mayonnaise tell the mustard
A: Close the door, I'm dressing

I hope everyone's Thanksgiving was as much fun as mine. I know that
leftover turkey abounds in 90% of American households right now, and I
have another solution for what to do with it. This recipe goes back
more than 50 years, and patrons of the Marshall Fields department
store in Chicago will remember it well. Rather than giving
quantities, I'll just outline the procedure, and you can let everyone
make their own. After all, haven't you spent the past two days
cooking already?

"Field's Special" Sandwich

Rye bread, buttered
Sliced turkey
Sliced ham
Sliced Swiss cheese
Whole lettuce leaves
Thousand Island dressing
Bacon slices, cooked crisp

Place the slice of rye bread on a plate and layer the turkey, ham, and
cheese on it. Place a single whole lettuce leaf over the sandwich,
forming a dome. Top with the Thousand Island dressing and cross two
slices of bacon on the top.
