"Career Decisions"
After church on Sunday morning, a young boy
suddenly announced to his mother, "Mom,
I've decided I'm going to be a minister when I grow up."
"That's okay with us," the mother said, "But
what made you decide to be a minister?"
"Well," the boy replied, "I'll have to go to church
on Sunday anyway, and I figure it will be much
more fun to stand up and yell than to sit still and listen."

"Life's Calling"
When I was a high school senior, I saw an
inspirational ad on TV about becoming a teacher.
I called the number shown: 800-45TEACH.
After a woman answered, I babbled on about how
I thought I had found my life's calling and could
she send me some information.
She asked me what number I was calling. After I
told her, there was a long pause.
Then she said, "You misspelled TEACH."
