Earth's first explorers to Mars discover it's inhabited,
and a fruitful period of cultural exchange follows. At
last, the Earthlings ask the Martians how they
reproduce. The Martians give a demonstration,
going through an elaborate series of motions that
culminate in the production of a Martian baby.
"And how do you Earthlings do it?" Well, fair's fair,
so a pair of explorers stripped and demonstrated.
"Where's the baby?" asked the Martians when it was
over.
"Oh, that won't come for another 9 months yet."
"So why was everyone in such a hurry toward the
end?"
