"Do You Want To Tell Him?" (A LadyHawke's Favorite)
A young farm boy comes downstairs for breakfast,
and his mother asks him if he has finished his
chores. Naturally, he hasn't done this.
"You have to finish your chores before you get
breakfast," the mother says.
The boy feeds the chickens and kicks a chicken.
Next he slops the hogs and kicks a pig. After that
he milks the cow and kicks the cow. He comes
into the kitchen where his mother has set him
down just a plain bowl of cold cereal.
"Mom, I want my usual hot breakfast. I want my
bacon and eggs." To which his mother replied,
"I saw you kick the chicken. You don't get any eggs.
I saw you kick the pig. You don't get any bacon. I
saw you kick the cow. You don't get any milk."
Just then the father comes down stairs and kicks
the cat.
"Mom, do you want to tell him or can I?"
