Teriyaki Burgers

This recipe takes traditional Asian ingredients and incorporates them
into an all-American classic for a fusion flavor sensation!

Teriyaki Burgers
from Campbell's Kitchen

Prep Time: 10 min.
Cook Time: 15 min.

1 1/2 pounds ground beef
1 can (10 1/2 ounces) Campbell'sŪ Condensed Beef Broth
1 tablespoon soy sauce
2 teaspoons brown sugar
1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
6 Pepperidge FarmŪ Classic Sandwich Buns with Sesame Seeds, split

1. Shape the beef into *6* (1/2-inch thick) burgers.

2. Cook the burgers in a 12-inch skillet over medium-high heat until
well browned on both sides. Pour off any fat.

3. Stir the broth, soy sauce, brown sugar and ginger in the skillet and
heat to a boil. Reduce the heat to low. Cover and cook for 5 minutes
for medium or to desired doneness. Serve the burgers and sauce on the buns.

Makes: 6 servings.

                              When shopping for this recipe, plan ahead and buy 3 pounds of
ground beef, then shape into 12 burgers. Use 6 for this recipe, then
individually wrap and freeze the rest and thaw as needed.
