Picante Beef Steaks with Sautéed Onions

Pace® Picante Sauce and golden onions bring out the beefy best in
sirloin. Satisfy hungry appetites tonight with this deliciously simple
recipe.

Picante Beef Steaks with Sautéed Onions
from Campbell's Kitchen

Prep Time: 5 min.
Cook Time: 25 min.

1 tablespoon olive oil
1 boneless beef sirloin steak, 3/4-inch thick (about 1 pound), cut into
4 pieces
1 medium onion, thinly sliced (about 1 cup)
1 cup Pace® Picante Sauce

1. Heat* half* the oil in a 12-inch skillet over medium-high heat. Add
the beef and cook until well browned on both sides. Remove the beef
from the skillet. Pour off any fat.

2. Heat the remaining oil in the skillet over medium heat. Add the
onion and cook until tender, stirring occasionally.

3. Stir the picante sauce in the skillet. Return the beef to the
skillet. Cook the beef for 2 minutes for medium or until desired doneness.

/Easy Substitution:/ You can substitute strip or rib steaks for the sirloin.

/Cooking for a Crowd:/ This recipe can easily be doubled to serve 8.
