After trying this simply delicious idea, you'll never cook rice with
water again!

Broth Simmered Rice
from Campbell's Kitchen

Prep/Cook Time: 25 min.

1 3/4 cups Swanson(R) Chicken Broth (regular, Natural Goodness(TM) or
Certified Organic)
3/4 cup uncooked regular long-grain white rice

Directions:
1. Heat the broth in a 2-quart saucepan over medium-high heat to a boil.
2. Stir in the rice. Reduce the heat to low. Cover the saucepan and cook
for 20 minutes or until the rice is tender and most of the liquid is
absorbed.
 Serves 4.
 Easy Substitution Tip: Substitute Swanson(R) Beef or Vegetable or
Seasoned Broths for the Chicken Broth.
 Florentine Simmered Rice: Add 1 tsp. dried Italian seasoning to broth.
Add 1 cup chopped spinach with rice. Stir in 1/2 cup grated Parmesan
cheese before serving. Serve with additional cheese.
